Old Town

The historic old town is definitely worth a visit. Enjoy the Mediterranean flair and the unique scenery in one of the many street cafés and restaurants. From the hotel you can reach the centre of Landshut within 3 minutes walk.

St. Martin's Church

With the highest brick tower in the world (130 m), St. Martin is the landmark of Landshut. The church was completed in 1500. The height of the interior of the late gothic hall church is 29 metres. Extremely slender pillars support the vault. The most important works of art in the interior are the Madonna by Hans Leinberger (approx. 1525) and the monumental choir arch cross of the Ulm master Erhard (ca. 1495). Trausnitz Castle

Medieval castles were always built in dominant places. A mountain plateau or a steep slope was the best topographical prerequisite for the construction of a castle. Duke Ludwig I, known as the Kelheimers, probably took this into account when he began building the castle and town in 1204.
